Placement Officer with Business Support£35,674 to £37,605 paThe Children's Commissioning Team are looking to recruit a new full time placement officer. The team sit within children's social care and work closely with social work staff to identify placements and resources for children and young people and make recommendations based on what best meets children's needs and represents best value for the Council. The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic to learn and have good communication and negotiation skills. It is a busy service and the post holder holds a case load of their own alongside supporting a duty rota within the team.The post holder will need knowledge of the framework of legislation/regulation/guidance for children's social care; departmental policies and procedures; best practice standards; and accountability to senior officers.Confident using Excel. Updating multiple spreadsheets daily.
