In this role you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of cleanliness within our fantastic clinic. This pivotal role will ensure we are compliant will infection prevention and ensuring our state of the art facilities remain pristine at all times. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your Healthcare career with internal opportunities constantly presented for our teams.Working times are between 0700-20:00, we would be looking for someone who can pick up either 0700-15:00 or 14:00-20:00 during the week and be flexible to work 1 in 4 Saturdays from 0800-12:00Either full time or part time applicants welcome to apply.Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the Clinic in line with the housekeeping and infection control policy
- Complete the cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring that rooms and public areas are clean to a very high standard
- Ensure that store rooms and trolleys are kept clean, tidy and properly stocked
- To keep in close contact and communication with the Clinic SMT and report any concerns regarding housekeeping issues immediately
- To work in close liaison with the clinical staff, understanding the special needs of the clinic on a day to day basis
- To be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the equipment provided, checking for faults and supply shortages and reporting them to the line manager
- Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations including COSHH
- Work with guidance on moving and handling, as identified in corporate and local policy and discussed at Mandatory training sessions.
- Quality assurance and patient confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
- To work variable shifts including early, late and weekends on rotation to ensure cover throughout and offer a flexible approach within the housekeeping team
- You will ideally have experience in a cleaning capacity within a commercial environment, however this is not essential as full training and development will be provided.
