React Developer - FX Derivatives & RiskBromley (3 days per week on-site)12-month contractCompetitive day rate via umbrellaAre you a React Developer who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments? This is your chance to join a front-office technology team working on cutting-edge trading systems that power global markets.You'll be part of a highly skilled FX Derivatives & Risk team, building and extending sophisticated front-end applications used by traders and risk managers. Expect a role that combines complex problem solving, UI performance optimisation, and exposure to financial products, all within a collaborative and innovative environment.What you'll be doing:Designing and developing high-performing React applications for FX Options and Risk.Optimising and scaling UI components to handle large volumes of real-time data.Collaborating closely with traders, quants, and other developers in an agile setup.Contributing to a platform that's critical to global trading operations.What we're looking for:
  • Strong programming skills in an OOP language (Java, Python, etc.).
  • Solid hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and CI/CD practices.
  • Background in UI design, optimisation, scalability, and reliability.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Bonus points if you have:Experience with derivatives, FX, or trading environments.Previous work on real-time financial UI applications.Knowledge of risk or options products.Why join?
