Job Title: Refrigeration Commissioning EngineerSalary: £42,436.00 per annum plus company car/ car allowance, Pension, Health plan, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).Realistic OTE £70,000.00 (Salary + overtime)Location: Covering Newcastle/ ScotlandHours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per weekWe are advertising this Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer role on behalf of our client 'CBES'. City FM was established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world's largest privately held, integrated FM companies.Job Purpose:The purpose of the role is to effectively maintain service and repair refrigeration equipment in customer locations & provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits as well as ensuring that health and safety is at the forefront of all actions.Main Accountabilities
  • Delivery of Refrigeration commissioning works on site in compliance with the agreed project specification and within agreed timescales.
  • Liaison with the Project / Installation Manager at all times striving to ensure that project works are delivered on time, snag free and to the agreed specification.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub-contractors follow safe systems of work on site.
  • Striving to achieve snag free completion and where snagging occurs to ensure it is resolved within 6 working days.
  • There will be opportunities to work on the very latest in refrigeration technology.
Skills Required
  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience of working on refrigeration systems within the food retail sector.
  • Experience in working unsupervised
  • A 'can do' attitude and self-motivation
  • Flexibility in working hours and travel requirements
  • A good degree of IT literacy.
  • Holding a full and clean driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Essential qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
  • City & Guilds (2079) F - Gas
