
Entry Level Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Ealing

- Supporting special needs students in a classroom setting under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with special needs to help them access the curriculum.
- Assisting with personal care tasks, as required, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility support.
- Participating in team meetings and liaising with parents, carers, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths.
- Relevant experience or training in supporting individuals with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable).
- Additional training in areas such as autism awareness or behaviour management (advantageous).
- Prior experience working with children or young people with special needs.
- Familiarity with educational settings and practises.
- Understanding of different special educational needs and how they may impact learning.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of students.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
- Certification in First Aid and/or Manual Handling.
- Full-time position based in Ealing, Greater London.
- Working hours typically follow the school timetable.
- Salary range: £90 - £110 per day.
