- Manage existing product categories (aggregates & water features), ensuring product availability, margin, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute category strategies, including range reviews, product innovation, and expansion into new categories such as pots.
- Lead Far East sourcing initiatives, working closely with suppliers to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and efficient supply chains.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure products meet market demands.
- Monitor category performance, identify opportunities, and recommend strategies for growth.
- Work closely with the leadership team to influence product direction and business growth strategies.
- Proven category management or product management experience within the aggregates, garden products, or landscaping supplies sectors.
- Strong Far East sourcing experience, ideally with established supplier networks.
- Commercially astute with a strong grasp of product margins, lifecycle, and market trends.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to spot gaps in the market and develop new categories.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple product lines.
- A hands-on, proactive approach, comfortable working closely with operational teams.
- Must be based within commutable distance to South Yorkshire, this is an on-site role, 5 days a week.
