Closing Date: Monday 1st September 2025The day to dayProvide ALS clients with a point of contact for transport-related enquiriesAnswering telephone calls and respond to e-mails from clients relating to collection requirementsTo be responsible for scheduling ad-hoc collections for the Chatteris, Sittingbourne and Trowbridge sitesTo work closely with the Regional Transport Manager to assist with the routine operations of the team and provide holiday cover when neededGenerate retail collection schedules as requiredCommunicate any relevant information to the Regional Transport Managers which may affect the day-to-day efficiency of ALS’s transport operationWorking pattern Monday to Friday. On Call 1 weekend in 4 to cover emergency driver issues.The essentialsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA logical, organised and systematic approach to workComputer literate with good grasp of Microsoft Office and Outlook packagesAbility to work both as part of a team and alone and perform under pressureGood organisational and analytical skills; ability to use own initiativePro-active, ‘can do’ attitude.
