ASAP Start!An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and focussed H & S Manager to join a dynamic business with a passion for delivering bespoke, high quality interior re-modelling solutions.Their portfolio includes some of the swankiest venues nationwide - from boutique hotels and fine dineries to cutting edge commercial venues and bespoke residences, everything they deliver is opulent, superbly designed and executed.Currently engaged on an impressive hotel refurbishment in the heart of Westminster, which is still open, they are in need of a site based Health & Safety Manager to co-ordinate the many H & S considerations on the scheme which include significant Temporary works, Crane lifts, Multiple trades packages and more, with the added complexity of a live working environment.Reporting into the Company H & S Manager, you'll be responsible for
- Performing site inductions, inspections and internal audits
- Assessing compliance to current company processes, implementing new strategies and processes and monitoring progress
- Reporting back to the Senior H & S Manager and Operations team on safety goals and intentions
- Promote a positive Health and Safety culture on site and whilst increasing the environmental awareness within the wider team and supply chain
- Provide training & guidance to site teams and other staff members where required and appropriate
- A proven track record and knowledge within the construction industry, gained specifically with a Contractor
- Sound knowledge of current regulations & legislative requirements for sites
- Academic qualifications including NEBOSH to compliment your practical knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of IT systems, contract documentations and reporting
