An English Graduate is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.This will be a full time long term English Graduate position, with scope to go permanent.Working hours for this English Graduate post will be 8am to 4pm.Responsibilities for this English Graduate role will include but not be limited to:
  • Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole English class intervention sessions
  • Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
  • Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required
  • Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
  • Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay for this English Graduate position will be between £82.14 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.The SchoolAn 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.RequirementsAll applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as an English Graduate:

  • UK English Degree or overseas equivalent
