Location: UK (remote), with opportunities for international travel.Reports to: Managing Director, AUW Support FoundationOrganizationThe Asian University for Women Support Foundation (AUWSF) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and serves as the principal fundraising arm of the Asian University for Women (AUW). AUW, located in Chittagong, Bangladesh, is a pioneering liberal arts and sciences institution dedicated to empowering talented young women from across Asia and the Middle East, regardless of socio-economic background. Since its founding in 2008, AUW has grown into a vibrant community of 2,000 students from 17 countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Syria. AUW is the world's largest host of female Afghan university students, currently educating more than 500 young Afghan women, with an additional 300 arriving soon.PositionAUWSF is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Campaign Officer to help drive a major fundraising initiative supporting scholarships for Afghan students and other underserved young women from across Asia and the Middle East. This role will be instrumental in planning and executing the campaign, building strong relationships with corporate partners, high-net-worth individuals, and global supporters, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious fundraising goals.Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive, donor-focused style
  • Experience with fundraising, partnership development, or sales campaigns
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Confident in prospect research, outreach, and follow-up
  • Ability to develop compelling presentations, one-pagers, and campaign materials
  • Comfortable engaging with senior executives, board members, and high-profile partners
  • Self-motivated with a passion for women's education and AUW's mission
Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Campaign Officer will coordinate and implement campaign activities to raise funds for AUW scholarship needs through corporate partnerships, individual donors, and AUW's global networks. Responsibilities include:
  • Campaign Planning and Coordination
  • Support the development and execution of the campaign strategy and timeline
  • Build and maintain detailed prospect lists of corporate and individual targets
  • Track outreach progress, meetings, and follow-ups to ensure momentum
  • Prospect Research and Outreach
  • Identify and research Fortune 2000 companies with operations in South Asia/Middle East and corporate commitments aligned with AUW's mission
  • Draft and customise outreach emails, letters, and proposals for prospective partners
  • Donor and Partner Engagement
  • Liaise with Board members to facilitate introductions to prospective donors and partners
  • Actively maintain communication and impact reports for corporate partners and donors
  • Campaign Materials Development
  • Contribute to the development of campaign toolkits, sector-specific one-pagers, and presentation decks
  • Draft student spotlights, alumni profiles, and anchor stories for campaign materials
  • Communications and Reporting
  • Ensure consistent messaging across outreach, digital platforms, and campaign materials
  • Maintain accurate records of campaign activities and prepare updates for the Managing Director and Board
Professional Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Ideally minimum 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, or campaign management
  • Proven track record of managing projects to successful completion
  • Experience in international education, women's empowerment, or development fundraising is a plus
