This role supports engineering studies, design functions, and problem resolution in areas where industry standards and practices may be undefined or under development.Key Responsibilities: Function Description Technical Support- Provide in-house consultancy and troubleshoot issues in mechanical and rotating equipment.
- Investigate plant issues and propose solutions. Engineering Assignments- Execute complex engineering projects independently.
- Interpret and apply technical codes and standards. Plant Support- Work with Operations & Maintenance teams, providing on-site solutions and technical guidance.Procurement & Inspections- Conduct factory inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.Project Cost Control- Implement cost control procedures to maintain project budgets.Leadership & Mentorship- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.Reporting- Prepare accurate and timely reports for internal use. Coaching & Development- Support the development of employee technical capabilities.Health, Safety & Environment- Ensure strict compliance with all safety and environmental procedures.Additional Duties- Act as backup to Mechanical and Rotating Equipment Engineers when required.
