Due to recent growth, they're looking for a hands-on Assistant Accountant to join their close-knit finance team on a temporary basis - with the opportunity to go permanent if it's the right match for both sides.This is a varied and busy role where you'll need to hit the ground running, so experience in a similar position is essential.Key responsibilities:Preparation of monthly VAT returns (UK and international) - a major part of the roleMonth-end routines: journal postings, accruals, prepaymentsBalance sheet and bank reconciliationsPayroll preparationAccounts payable: end-to-end processingLight accounts receivable dutiesRunning weekly/monthly payment runsSupporting year-end prep and liaising with external accountantsInvolvement in statutory accounts and occasional support with management accountsWhat we're looking for:Experience in a similar roleConfident using SageAble to start at short noticeMust have access to a car due to the locationInterested?
