- Maintain and develop a well-established commercial book of business (£150K-£200K, depending on region and experience)
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, referrals, and industry engagement
- Provide tailored insurance solutions to mid-sized and larger commercial clients
- Ensure all work aligns with current compliance and regulatory standards
- Support business-wide objectives following recent structural changes aimed at boosting performance
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations to maximise opportunities and service delivery
- Build and strengthen client relationships through regular, value-driven interaction
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow your book of business
- Oversee renewals and manage policy changes effectively
- Work cross-functionally to ensure cohesive client service
- Keep up to date with market trends and regulatory developments to deliver informed advice
- 10+ years of experience in the commercial insurance sector
- Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio with a focus on client retention and growth
- Proven success in driving new business
- Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products and regulatory expectations
- Experience operating across competitive and regionally diverse markets
- ACII qualified or working towards the qualification
- Familiarity with platforms such as Acturis
- Excellent communicator with a natural ability to build trust and influence
- Commercially astute with a proactive, solutions-led mindset
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Works well independently and within team environments
- Informed and analytical, with strong awareness of insurance market dynamics
