Job DescriptionRole: Plant and Terminal SupervisorJob Type: PermanentLocation: BelfastSalary: Circa £26kKey Responsibilities:
  • Undertake terminal and jetty operations as directed, ensuring operational and client requirements are met
  • Set up casual jetty shifts for vessel discharges
  • Perform pre-arrival and post-departure checks and clean up of jetty areas to maintain good housekeeping for the client.
  • Monitor terminal storage tank levels during product movements to prevent under or overloading.
  • Provide information for incident investigations as required, contributing to continuous improvement and health and safety standards.
  • Report all observations of defects, near misses, and incidents that could compromise health, safety, environment, plant integrity, or security.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant operating procedures, HSE manuals, and risk assessments in all activities.
  • Assist supervisors/managers in identifying and correcting non-conformances regarding quality, operational, or safety matters.
  • Assist with the training of new operatives under the guidance of relevant supervisors/managers to maintain standards.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications/Experience:
  • Previous experience in terminal and jetty operations or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work at various locations within Northern Ireland as required.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a safe working environment.
