- Develop monthly drawdown plans in compliance with group Funding and Treasury policies, taking into account market rates, group profitability forecasts, and funder restrictions/requirements.
- Take ownership of daily cash flow forecasting, monitoring group cash balances to ensure the fulfillment of daily/monthly treasury targets and ongoing liquidity requirements.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with funders.
- Stay updated on external developments and potential threats to all CBS credit lines, and communicate and document these to relevant management teams.
- Provide information and support, as needed, to facilitate any increases or changes to existing funding facilities or any facilities with potential new funders.
- Review and approve relevant Management Account reconciliations, and provide commentary on funding costs movements to support monthly group Management Accounts.
- Assist commercial functions in preparing annual forecasts.
- Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting to support variance analysis and reforecasting processes.
- Support the Head of Department and the wider finance team during annual financial audits.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with the Funding Team, including setting objectives, reporting, and monitoring progress in line with departmental KPIs and strategy.
- Collaborate with the Treasury Analyst to ensure department reporting requirements are met and continuously improve reporting outputs to provide value-added information to all stakeholders.
- Assist the CBS Board of Directors, Management Board, and other business functions with ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using STORM, CRM, Dynamics GP, Excel, CBS websites, and any additional IT systems adopted by CBS.
- Utilise analytical skills to review, identify, document, and when applicable, provide recommendations for process efficiencies and improvements.
- Collaborate with the Operations department to drive system improvements and developments, creating efficiencies and ensuring robust Treasury controls and procedures.
- A recognised professional qualification in Accounting or Treasury (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA) (desirable)
