This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic and personal growth, and create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.Responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom organisation.
- Assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support pupil success.
- Contribute to school initiatives and extra-curricular activities as required.
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire young learners.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
