⏰ Start Date: ASAPAre you a reliable and dedicated cleaner with a passion for ensuring a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for students and staff? We are currently looking for a motivated cleaner to join our vibrant primary school in Huddersfield. You will play a key role in maintaining high cleanliness standards across the school and ensuring a welcoming environment for all.About the Role:
- Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, toilets, and other school facilities to a high standard
- Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and correctly
- Carry out deep cleaning as required (e.g., during school holidays)
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate staff
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Be an active part of the school community, ensuring a clean, pleasant environment for everyone
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or public sector setting
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
- Good time management skills with the ability to work around the school’s schedule
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
- Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
