Here at Futures we are currently supporting a well-established FMCG Food manufacturing business based in Leeds.Due to recent growth and expansion, the company is looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join their already established team.Reporting into the Engineering Manager a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of company assets. Facilitating speedy recovery to any breakdowns as they occur.Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias):
  • Performing scheduled maintenance procedures on machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and maintenance on mechanical systems and industrial machinery.
  • Daily plant inspection, monitoring plant performance
  • Ensure timely & accurate records are entered / recorded of all work carried out.
  • Share responsibility for achieving budgeted machine performance targets.
Successful Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) will have:
  • Time Served Apprenticeship in an Engineering discipline, holding an Mechanical Engineering HND | HNC | BTEC | ONC | C&G | NVQ Level 3 or higher
  • Previous Experience working within a FMCG Manufacturing Environment
  • Working well under pressure
  • Great communication skills
