You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering health, safety and environmental audits across Electricity North West employees, contractors, and Independent Connection Providers
- Writing audit reports, agreeing improvement actions, and following up on closure
- Providing expert advice on compliance with legislation, codes of practice, and internal standards
- Identifying HSE risks and opportunities for performance improvement, supporting their implementation
- Representing Electricity North West at industry, contractor, and internal meetings
We’re looking for someone with:
- NEBOSH Certificate (or working towards it) and internal auditor training (OH&S management systems or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation, ideally with experience in electrical distribution, utilities, or similar safety-critical industries
- Excellent report writing, communication, and influencing skills
- High integrity, independence, and excellent organisational ability
- Knowledge of Distribution Safety Rules, cable jointing, and overhead line working (desirable)
