- Effective Lesson Delivery: Planning and teaching well-structured, engaging lessons that impart knowledge and develop understanding, including setting homework and contributing to an exciting curriculum design.
- Differentiated Teaching: Skillfully adapting teaching approaches to respond to the diverse strengths and needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, high ability, EAL, or disabilities, ensuring effective learning for every child.
- Strategic Assessment: Making accurate and productive use of both formative and summative assessment, using data to monitor progress, set targets, and provide regular, constructive feedback (both oral and through marking).
- Positive Behaviour Management: Implementing clear rules and routines, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, and managing the classroom effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
- Wider Professional Contribution: Being an excellent role model, effectively deploying support staff, actively contributing to the wider life and ethos of the school, and developing strong relationships with colleagues and parents. You will also safeguard the welfare of all children.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
