- Execution of projects and operations.
- Responsible for all aspects of off-site assembly supervision, onshore and offshore installation, operations and maintenance.
- Contributing to conceptual and detail engineering studies.
- Witnessing and coordinating assembly, testing, commissioning and operation at onshore / offshore locations worldwide.
- Leading / working as part of the installation or operations team at onshore locations in the UK.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient assembly, installation and maintenance of all company product lines.
- Leading and participating within offshore installation teams, as well as supervising more junior members.
- Modifying / creating / checking / approving drawings, technical documents and operational procedures.
- Supporting project and tendering teams as required.
- Participating in design reviews, HAZID’s, HAZOP’s, IWOP’s etc.
- Maintaining upkeep of asset maintenance record / EIAS (Equipment Integrity Assurance Scheme).
- Applying sound engineering principles in the preparation of calculations, specifications, reports, schedules, drawings/sketches and resolution of engineering challenges.
- Checking calculations, specifications, reports, schedules, drawings / sketches and other documentation.
- Technically reviewing designs produced by design team, for correctness, compliance with all standards, completeness and manufacturability and instigate changes and improvements using relevant document control procedures.
- Participating in and running internal or external project review meetings.
- Internal /external project document control.
- Assisting PM in managing the project schedule, identifying critical path issues and developing mitigation actions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Assisting less experienced Engineers and Technicians.
- Previous experience in a similar Subsea Operations Engineer type role, directly within the North Sea Subsea industry, is essential.
- Previous experience in offshore installation / operations is essential.
- Experience in subsea installation, workovers and interventions is essential.
- Experience with subsea operations and SPS systems is essential.
- Experience of working with hydraulic and electric control systems is essential.
- Excellent working knowledge of assembly and test techniques is essential.
