About The RoleCare South, a leading not for profit registered charity, have exciting opportunities for Bank Care Assistants in the Beauchamp Gardens Assisted Living community.Beauchamp Gardens is a charming development of 14 beautiful, Assisted Living country cottages and apartments situated in the rural village of Hatch Beauchamp, nestled in the stunning Somerset countryside.This Bank Homecare Assistant role will be supporting clients in the community with a variety of needs including personal care, domestic support, activities, and companionship.Unlike other domiciliary job roles, there will be no travel time or mileage as you will be solely working in our wonderful community.No evenings shifts either! It is desirable that applicants hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle but this is not essential.This Bank Homecare Assistant position is suitable for anyone looking for Cleaning, Domestic, Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant roles.Care South want our Homecare Assistants to feel valued, in return we offer:

Key duties for our Homecare Assistants include:
  • Identifying the needs and abilities of our clients and providing encouragement
  • Delivering all aspects of care including personal care when required, domestic support and meal preparation.
  • Supporting with community visits (shopping and leisure trips)
  • Regular communications with the office support team

  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients
  • Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential as Care South provide full training
  • Ideally holder of a driving licence with access to a vehicle.
  • Business insurance on vehicle or happy to obtain it
  • Flexible in the hours you can work, ideally working alternative weekends
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Holder of an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake
