Job descriptionProspero Teaching are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Ipswich starting from September 2025. The successful candidate will be working in a specialist class providing close support to children with complex special educational needs.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
  • Location – Ipswich, Suffolk
  • Position – Teaching Assistant
  • Contract or position start date – September 2025
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing booking
  • Contract type – Long-Term
  • Full-time/part-time – Full-time
  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £90 per day
  • Hours – 8:00 am – 4:00pm: Mon – Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous SEN TA experience
  • GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
