The school offers a bespoke curriculum, designed to meet the individual needs of each student, with a strong focus on building essential life skills, independence, and confidence.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in the classroom by assisting with learning activities and promoting engagement.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to each student's needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of individualised learning plans (ILPs) and ensure they are adhered to.
  • Help students develop key life skills, including communication, independence, and emotional regulation.
  • Manage classroom behaviour by using positive reinforcement techniques and supporting students in developing self-regulation skills.
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students, ensuring their well-being.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff and other professionals to ensure students’ needs are met.
  • Assist in the monitoring and tracking of student progress, offering feedback and supporting assessments.
