
Meter Read Optimisation Analyst

- Collaborate with metering & operations teams to establish performance routines, monitor key performance metrics, set performance targets and monitor progress
- Analyse meter read performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks & opportunities and provide recommendations for areas for improvement and to optimise meter read scheduling.
- Support the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives, with clear articulation of costs versus benefits of decisions made
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operational performance and change initiatives
- Assist in forecasting performance and setting realistic but stretching goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, appreciating what best in class performance looks like both internally and within other organisations/industries
- Build strong working relationships with the key internal and 3rd Party stakeholders to successfully deliver customer outcomes
- We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, with a strong understanding of operational processes and how they work within complex organisations and regulatory environments. You should be a team player who can build cross-functional relationships and manage diverse stakeholder groups effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are key, along with the ability to understand performance drivers and apply commercial acumen. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, especially when presenting insights to senior management and using data to inform decision-making.
- You should have extensive experience of using analytical tools like SQL, Excel, and Power BI to manage large datasets, assess performance, identify risks, and spot opportunities for improvement.
- A solid understanding of industry processes such as P196 would be beneficial while strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to develop close working relationships will be crucial in this role.
