Job Title: Specialist Tutor – Oxford (1:1 Support)
Location: Oxford
Pay: £20 - £30 per hourAbout the Role:
We are looking for dedicated tutors to work alongside local authorities and schools in Oxford, providing 1:1 support to students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA), Looked After Children (LAC), and more.Key Responsibilities:Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needsCollaborate closely with local authorities and school staff to ensure cohesive supportAssess student abilities and design bespoke schemes of workMonitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordinglyProvide encouragement and guidance to help students overcome barriers to learningRequirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 3 years tutoring experienceExperience supporting students with complex needs such as ASD, ADHD, EBSA, LACStrong skills in assessment, planning, and delivering tailored educational programmesAbility to work independently and as part of a wider support teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:Competitive hourly rate between £20 and £30Opportunity to make a real difference in students’ educational journeysSupportive network and resources to assist your professional growthAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
