It starts with you.As a Dental Nurse at our hospital, you’ll be alert, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic . You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including GMC.As our Dental Nurse you will:
  • To prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
  • To contribute towards effective clinical risk management- supporting risk assessment, management and mitigation.
  • To proactively identify and manage safety issues and risks in accordance with regulation.
  • To ensure a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures).
  • ·To recognise and report clinical incidents and risks to the Clinical Leader (and/or Nurse in charge) and contribute to potential solutions.
  • To promote safeguarding and to escalate concerns. ·
  • To promote infection prevention, ensuring compliance with evidence-based standards and best practices in surveillance and antimicrobial management.
