Competitive Day Rate (DOE)We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a residential housing development in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. This is a freelance opportunity for approximately 12 months, offering the chance to lead a well-structured housing site from early stages through to completion.Key Responsibilities:Day-to-day site management of a new-build residential developmentManaging site teams, subcontractors, and materials deliveriesEnsuring health & safety compliance at all timesCoordinating with project stakeholders including clients, QS, and design teamsMaintaining project timelines and ensuring quality standards are metRegular reporting and site documentationRequirements:Proven experience managing new-build housing sites (volume or bespoke)SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications (essential)Strong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage subcontractors effectivelyOwn transport and full UK driving licence
