We are recruiting for a housekeeper working between both of our sites, Dougie Mac and Children’s & Young Adults Services. Do you have some housekeeping experience working within a clinical environment, with good communication skills, a proactive approach to cleanliness, decontamination and Infection Prevention?Join our dedicated 16 Strong flexible housekeeping team, working within a clinical environment, carrying out deep cleans, and general cleans in all areas of the wards to a very high standard of cleanliness and infection control, for our patientsOther cleaning duties include some offices, laundry and stores.Full training will be given to ensure Infection Prevention.Key Responsibilities

To clean areas and equipment in accordance with cleaning schedules following set standards as affirmed by Facilities
To report any breakdown of equipment or machinery to the Facilities Manager.
To be responsible for the laundering service, when required.
To identify personal training needs and participate in In-Service education.
To be multi-skilled and work in any other Ancillary department sections as required by the facilities manager.
To maintain good relationships with all members of staff.
To comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
To ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times
To record information as required by the Infection Control Policy.

Salary: £19,100 actual salaryHours: 30 hours a week – 5 out of 7 days a weekYou will work to a 3 week rolling rota - which includes 1 in 3 weekends.Morning shifts are between 7.00am-1.30pm -Afternoon shifts are between 12.30 -7.00pmWeekend shifts are between 7.00am and 3.00pm.Applications close: Sunday 14th September 2025Interviews: Tuesday 23rd September 2025📩 How to Apply
