Quantum Engineer - RF Control HardwareOpportunityOQC are currently looking for a talented Quantum Engineer to join our growing team as we look to build and deploy groundbreaking Quantum Computers. As a Quantum Engineer with experience of RF control hardware, you’ll get the opportunity to work with software engineers and our RnD team on a variety of experiments and projectsRoleAs a Quantum Engineer in our material and devices area, you’ll be working on complex experiments to solve technical problems that allow us to design, build and deploy quantum computers into collocated data centres globally.Skills + experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll need to have an inquisitive nature and be keen on solving complex issues.Ideally you’ll have:
  • A relevant PhD or industry experience within RF control hardware or quantum computing
  • Experience of writing python code for RF control hardware
  • The ability to work with people of different technical backgrounds including software engineers
  • Knowledge of how to deploy and test hardware in cryogenics
  • Strong data analysis and presentation skills
  • Experience of time resolved RF measurements
