The team provides day-to-day responsive repairs, from broken door handles to roof maintenance. No two days are the same, and if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you.About the roleWe have a new opportunity for a Roofer to join our team covering Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. This is a full-time, permanent role working 39 hours a week: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am to 3:30pmThe successful candidate will deliver high standards of installation and repairs of roofs ensuring that appropriate tiles, wood shingles and other necessary materials are used. You will also carry out associated activities within acceptable quality standards while delivering great customer service.What we're looking for:
  • Skills and experience to enable the completion of repairs at the visit (first time fix)
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets
  • Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines
  • Ability to work at heights and have the stamina and balance to work on a range of roof types
  • Ability to operate safely having considered and environmental circumstances and possible risks
Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) Roofing Occupations or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade.
  • PASMA (desirable)
  • CISRA Scaffolding Part I (desirable)
