- Maintenance and / or replacement of failed components; installation and upgrade of control system hardware; and support of project activities, including loop allocations and drawing reviews
- The control systems used at the Fawley site are predominantly Honeywell based, but also include other Microsoft based platforms.
- Willingness to participate in out-of-hours standby rota (must reside in vicinity of Fawley Site)
- You must be a qualified Technician (preferably in Instrumentation/Electrical/IT) with experience of relevant working environment e.g. within petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power generation, defense, utilities or water industries, to high safety and quality standards
- You are an effective team player with ability to adapt and overcome obstacles, exhibiting good interpersonal and communication skills with motivation to learn
- Candidates should also have demonstrated work experience and / or knowledge of maintaining and supporting process control systems, including having a knowledge of control loops, data links and power distribution in an operational environment
- You have an understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and familiarity with MS Office based applications
- Have familiarity of industrial control system cybersecurity practices and networks
- Preferably have experience of process control systems including Honeywell DCS platforms, for example Experion, TDC 2000 or TDC 3000, although experience with other vendors DCS/PLC/SCADA systems would also be relevant
