HGV Class 1 Driver – Tramping / Long Haul – Sharpness and HardwickeAre you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a stable, full-time role with immediate starts? Our client, a leading logistics company operating across the UK, is seeking reliable drivers for tramping work based around the Gloucester area.This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who enjoy varied routes and want to join a team that values professionalism and commitment. With competitive pay, consistent shifts, and potential overtime, this role offers both security and flexibility.Have you worked for Wren Kitchens, Maritime Transport or GXO Logistics? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!What we offer:
  • Competitive pay of £17.00 per hour, equating to approximately £680 per week (based on 40 hours)
  • Additional £25 per night out allowance
  • Full-time, permanent position with immediate start available
  • Varied tramping routes offering great experience and potential overtime opportunities
Key requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence for Class 1 vehicles
  • Valid CPC and tachograph card
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience as a Class 1 driver
  • Ability to load, secure and unload goods safely
  • Strong route planning and time management skills
Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
  • Ensure deliveries meet deadlines with professional customer service
  • Maintain safety standards during all transport activities
