An Accounts Payable Clerk is needed for a reputable industrial/manufacturing firm based near Cannock, who will manage all aspects of the accounts payable process, from invoice processing to payment reconciliation. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in finance.
  • Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all accounting tasks.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage communications regarding billing and payment queries.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Perform credit card payments and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the monthly closure of financial records and reports.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures regarding invoice processing.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the accounting department.
Accounts Payable Clerk|Hybrid WorkingA successful 'Accounts Payable Clerk' should have:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with accounting software.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
