Reporting to the Director & Head of Finance for the Construction section, and working strictly in contact with the UK MD, you will be responsible for driving performance through insightful analysis and robust financial controls.You would also:
- Perform monthly variance analysis, UK management reports, KPI reporting, and Business Review Meeting slides preparation for UK Biosite.
- Lead sales and order forecasting, EBIT Flash forecast, quarterly forecasting, and budget management for UK Biosite, with support for Construction business area consolidated reporting.
- Deliver regular traffic light reporting on strategic projects and implement follow-up reviews to ensure business case benefits are achieved.
- Act as point of contact for ad-hoc queries, bank payment approvals, and support strategic decision-making, business case analysis, and acquisitions.
- Contribute to project reporting template development, continuous improvement projects, and ongoing systems transformation.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience in a financial analysis role.
- Demonstrates proven analytical and problem solving skills with a commercial focus and a curious mindset.
- Is proficient in financial systems and tools (SAP, HFM, Excel, Xero, MRPeasy, onestream preferred), with knowledge of Power BI desirable.
- Possesses strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
- Has excellent attention to detail and time management, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
