Logistics done differently.Are you an HGV driver fed up with not knowing when you're working next? We're looking for flexible Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our site in Wakefield, on a permanent contract. Please click this link to see our current vacancies.Pay, benefits and more.You'll be supporting our Saint Gobain contract on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working day shift. The roles are direct deliveries and not multi-drop. Weekend overtime is also available, In return for your hard work, we'll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £16.59 for days, with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top! The role is PAYE.What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Making deliveries to SGIS customers
  • You will be driving new equipment and pulling new trailers
  • Our sites are Gold Standard FORS compliant and you will be working in an environment that is highly safety driven
  • No manual handling, all loads tipped by clients
What you need to succeed at XPO:
  • We'll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement),
  • You'll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
  • A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
