Salary: £43,742 - £50,056 per annumWe are currently seeking an experienced Ward Manager to join a dynamic nursing team in a renowned healthcare facility located in Hove. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing operations within a multi-disciplinary surgical ward. The diverse specialisms include Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, and more, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a supportive and contemporary environment.   • Lead a team comprising clinical and non-clinical personnel, ensuring the delivery of top-tier care, safety, and service to patients and stakeholders.
  • Provide exemplary clinical leadership to uphold the highest standards of nursing care within the clinical setting.
  • Foster a conducive working environment that prioritises health, safety, security, and infection control.
  • Facilitate the development of team members' knowledge, ideas, and work practices, offering guidance and feedback as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Active registration with the NMC, with no restrictions on practice.
  • Previous experience in Surgical/HDU/ERU settings.
  • Demonstrable management experience in a similar capacity, showcasing effective leadership skills and the ability to enhance nursing services.
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities, essential for managing complex services while maintaining a gold standard of patient care.
