MIG Welder & FabricatorWilland | £30,000 - £34,000 per annum | Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 40 hours per weekAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder & Fabricator on behalf of a growing engineering business based near Tiverton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team in a company that truly values its staff and offers long-term career stability.Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Overtime available at enhanced rates:
  • Weekday OT: Flat rate.
  • Saturday: Time and a half.
  • Sunday: Double time.
Salary:
  • £30,000 - £34,000 per annum (depending on experience).
The Role:
  • Fabrication and welding of mild steel components.
  • MIG welding with occasional TIG welding.
  • Work with both light and heavy steel fabrications.
  • Use jigs and follow detailed engineering drawings.
  • Carry out sheet metal work involving mild and stainless steel.
  • Perform consistent, high-quality work on repetitive tasks.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in working with mild steel and stainless steel.
  • Comfortable working with both heavy and light fabrications.
  • Experience using fabrication jigs.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-focused environment.
