- Developing designs and plans for drainage systems, including stormwater management, sewer systems, culverts, etc. for high-rise mix-use redevelopments.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations whilst preparing environmental impact assessments, and adhering to relevant codes and standards.
- Managing and mentoring other engineers and technicians in the development of design and project information.
- Independently leading on a wide range of projects involving client liaison, financial and quality management.
- Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and hydraulic modeling tools to analyze drainage systems, simulate storm events, and optimize design solutions.
- Preparing detailed reports, drawings, and technical documentation related to drainage projects. Documenting project milestones, challenges, and outcomes for internal records and client deliverables.

- Relevant degree in Civil Engineering (i.e. BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng/etc.)
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Engineering Council UK is highly desirable.
- Minimum 4+ years' experience designing development infrastructure, particularly in drainage. Experience on residential projects, particularly sustainable inner city developments, would be preferable.
- Management experience of other engineers and technicians over a range of projects on design development information.
- A good technical background and grounding in the design of drainage, flood risk assessments and bulk earthworks.
- Working towards professional qualification
- Interest in working in a variety of sectors supporting NHS, Department for Education and private sector.
- Experience of the following computer packages would be preferable/essential: Civils 3D for drainage networks
