Seven Resourcing is seeking a skilled Property Manager to join our team in Bristol, UK, for an exciting opportunity. This role, starting in September, is for an initial 3-month contract, with full-time hours split across 37 hours per week, three days of surveying, and two days working from home. - Provide expert support to Property Partners in delivering effective property solutions aligned with Asset Management Plans.
- Advise on property-related issues and negotiate legal agreements concerning land and property use with external parties.
- Implement and support the development of procedures for processing Right to Buy applications, ensuring compliance with the Housing Act 1985.
- Oversee the preparation for the sale of Council houses, ensuring all applications meet standards and legislation for manager approval.
- Collect and report financial and performance data related to Right to Buy activities for senior teams, ensuring accurate and timely information transfer.
- Conduct occasional home visits to verify customer details and confirm property eligibility under the Right to Buy scheme.Key responsibilities:
- Promote and enforce safe working practices to maintain a secure environment for employees and service users, following corporate and departmental policies.
- Uphold the codes of conduct, regulations, and policies set by the City Council.
- Foster inclusivity and diversity within the service, ensuring high-quality work output that meets current standards and legislation.
- Complete all mandatory training requirements for a well-rounded understanding of council operations and responsibilities.Requirements:
We seek someone experienced in the Right to Buy application process, with robust property valuation skills.
