We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team at Oak Furnitureland’s head office in Swindon. This is a hybrid role, with two days a week in the office and three from home. You’ll be responsible for managing a variety of business-critical projects across multiple departments—such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Operations.   • Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans, including detailed tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Effectively manage project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.
  • Implement and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, as needed.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and company standards.
  • Conduct project reviews and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Oversee project closure activities, including documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experienced Project Manager that has worked within retail, in a fast-paced environment
  • Delivered on a variety of projects across various business functions
  • Ability to challenge and suggest innovative solutions
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, techniques & tools associated with the project lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead multi-functional teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of project budgeting and cost control
  • A good understanding of software development and web technologies
  • Working knowledge of project management software
  • A project management qualification would be desirable
