We are looking for a Band 8a General Medicine Pharmacist to join our team in Plymouth for three months, with the potential for full-time engagement.   • Clinically screen medication charts on the ward, screening discharge prescriptions and one-stop orders
  • Complete medicines reconciliation and address ward-based medication information queries
  • Participate in MDT meetings and conduct ward CD audits
  • Order and manage medicines, collaborating closely with Medicines Optimisation technicians
  • Interpret blood results in relation to medicines to optimise patient care
You should be a registered pharmacist with the GPhC. While hospital experience is beneficial, it is not required if you have been qualified and working for over a year. An interest or experience in frailty, stroke, brain injuries, or rehabilitation and knowledge of polypharmacy and deprescribing will be considered advantages.Driving is necessary for this role, enabling you to efficiently manage tasks within the hospital setting.Plymouth is not just an incredible place to work but also a brilliant location to live.
