This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, focused on overseeing multiple concurrent projects within a high-compliance, high-stakes environment.You will be responsible for managing a team of project professionals, working closely with the VP of the Business Unit to shape and execute delivery strategy. You'll bring energy, accountability, and a delivery-first mindset - leading by example, solving problems proactively, and ensuring every program is delivered to the highest standard.This is a facility-driven role, not one for a passenger - we're looking for a delivery leader who thrives in the details and is driven to continuously improve.   • Lead and implement the BU delivery strategy, including planning, resource management, scheduling, and risk
  • Own the delivery of 2-3 concurrent projects
  • Plan resource demands across projects and manage cross-program dependencies
  • Drive high-quality reporting, integrated scheduling, and forecasting of profitability
  • Build and grow a high-performing delivery team (3 direct reports, team size ~50)
  • Provide regular input to stakeholders and senior management on delivery performance
  • Champion continuous improvement in delivery processes and team performance
What We're Looking ForEssential Experience & Attributes
  • Significant project/program delivery leadership experience in defence, aerospace, or regulated technology sectors
  • Track record of managing multi-million-pound programs across multiple projects
  • Experience working as a Program Manager / Senior Project Manager with hands-on delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and take initiative in high-pressure situations
  • SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it
  • Comfortable travelling across the UK and internationally as required
  • Strategic yet hands-on leader - someone who leads by example and gets things done
  • Skilled at stakeholder planning, reporting, and communication in complex environments
Desirable
  • Experience delivering EW or similar mission-critical systems
  • Ability to grow and structure delivery teams in line with program scaling
  • Background in commercially driven defence projects
