Position: Nursery Nurse (School-based)
Hours: Term Time Only, School Hours (Monday–Friday)Milk Education is proud to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the L7 area of Liverpool. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Nurse to work within the school’s Early Years setting, supporting the development of young children, including those with additional needs.This is a term-time only role, offering school-day hours – ideal for those seeking a rewarding position with excellent work-life balance. This role has the potential to be Temp- to- Perm.Key Responsibilities:Deliver targeted fine motor skills interventions to support children’s pre-writing and coordination developmentSupport and implement phonics interventions in line with early reading strategiesAssist with Bucket Therapy sessions to help develop children’s attention and listening skillsWork closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to support the learning and development of identified childrenAssist with personal care routines, including toileting and hygiene, with sensitivity and professionalismEngage children in play-based learning to promote social, emotional, and cognitive developmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting, ideally with a focus on interventionsA strong understanding of early years development, including phonics and fine motor progressionKnowledge of or experience with Bucket Therapy techniquesExperience working within or alongside a Forest School setting is highly desirableA warm, positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships with children and colleaguesWillingness to carry out personal care duties when neededA relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
