Location: Donington
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 18:45 – 06:45 (44 hours paid)
Start Date: asapOur client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business, has recently expanded to three sites, creating new opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join their nightshift team.About the Role:You’ll be working as a Production Operative within a busy woodyard environment, supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times. This is a temporary ongoing position which may lead to permanent employment for the right person.Required Criteria:We’re looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following:
  • Good understanding of spoken and written English (essential for Health & Safety compliance)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Basic machine setting knowledge
  • Excellent attendance and timekeeping
  • A willingness to learn and take on new skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
Desirable Skills (Not Essential, But Beneficial):Experience in any of the following areas would offer a strong advantage:
  • Beamsaw operation
  • Multi-spindle moulder
  • Industrial paint line
  • Cross-cutting (X/Cut) machinery
  • 3 and 5-axis CNC machines
  • Combi-lift operation (valid accredited certificate required)
