Year on year they have continued to play an integral role in the market and off the back of recent developments, are looking towards a bright and profitable future.This role would suit a Maintenance Lead Technician or similar from Automotive or Aerospace, looking to work on a variety of technical projects for a prestigious manufacturer that they would be proud to represent.The Role:
Enable team members sufficient time to complete work within their agreed area of responsibility
Ensure the team can function at all times in terms of appropriately skilled labour, standardised performance, consumable materials and effectively maintained equipment
Lead the shift team to improve the availability of equipment through reliability of equipment and effective management of all planned maintenance activities
Control and reduce all forms of waste using Kaizen, 5S, PPS and FTPM principles
Assist Environmental department in waste management in relation to zero landfill and energy reduction
Monitor, control and improve the quality level within the team, referring to Company and customer quality standards
Lead the team in the development of world-class performance in the establishment of housekeeping principals, 5S, compliance and adherence to safety/environmental regulations
Enable the team to agree work standards with industrial engineers and implement man assignments/labour loading
Using lean principles as a key driver in establishing standard processes, resource allocation and process/work area layout
The Person:
Technical Maintenance background in a manufacturing/engineering environment
Flexibility to work shift patterns, overtime, weekends to achieve production targets
