- Nursing Associate Foundation Degree and NMC registration/Associate Practitioner Qualification
- Demonstrates a commitment to further learning and development
- Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate/Associate Practitioner in context of Community Nursing, and how the role may contribute to service development
- Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code
- Evidence of the ability to undertake clinical skills as outlined in the NMC Nursing Associate Skills Annex
- Able to exercise judgement when dealing with patient/carer enquiries
- Awareness of Health and Safety and infection control regulations at work
- Able to cope with deadlines, frequent interruptions, and unpredictable work patterns
- An ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they arise in line with relevant experience
- Able to communicate clearly to provide patients with reassurance and display empathy
- Awareness of budget and the need for effective use of resources
- Has good time management and organisation skills
- Able to use databases and other IT programmes, including MicroSoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Emails, Virtual Meeting platforms, EMIS (training will be provided for EMIS)
