Department: Maintenance/Internal Delivery CellMitie is proud to be in year 21 of the 25-year Armada PFI Contract, delivering Hard and Soft FM services across Naval Base accommodation areas and remote locations. We are expanding our team and seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Engineers to join our newly formed Maintenance/Internal Delivery Cell. About the RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of works including:
- Minor works, small projects, and remedial/reactive tasks
- Lifecycle and PPM activities
- Compliance and add-value works
- General maintenance across accommodation and office spaces
- Carry out multi-trade works including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, decorating, tiling, and building fabric maintenance
- Support fire door maintenance, PAT testing, and compliance activities
- Deliver high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced, high-status environment
- Conduct risk assessments and adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Work independently and as part of a rotating compliance cell
- Attend meetings and liaise with supervisors and clients
- Proven experience in facilities management
- Skilled in at least two trades (e.g., painting, carpentry, plumbing, tiling)
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to read schematics and plan workloads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Full valid UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 2 in 2-3 Multi-Trade disciplines
- City & Guilds 6217 or equivalent
