  • Setting up projects accurately
  • Managing the project closing list alongside the Project Managers
  • Assessing budgets
  • Overseeing invoicing
  • Supporting with audits
  • Coordinating the production of reports and forecasts
  • Monitoring the Projects inbox

The CompanyOur client is a well renowned and prestigious institute.Grants Finance Assistant Experience EssentialsTo be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate financial reports. Experience in administration within a research environment, the public sector, or a large complex organisation is essential, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial matters clearly. Strong interpersonal skills are important, as the role involves working closely with both academic and non-academic colleagues. A high level of IT proficiency, particularly in Excel, is required, as well as the ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure. Desirable qualifications include being fully or partly AAT qualified, experience with financial systems such as Oracle, and knowledge of research funding administration.Grants Finance Assistant LocationThis is a full-time, permanent position based in Central Oxford. Hybrid working is available with 3 days per week required in the office. However, you will be expected in more during the initial training period.There is no parking on site however it has easy public transport access.Action
