- This is a part time post.
- This is a variable hours open-ended contract based on 40 teaching hours over 20 weeks (two hours of teaching per week, plus associated preparation, administration and marking time).
- Teaching is expected to take place on Monday afternoons during term one and term two between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Depending on demand, there may also be scope for teaching on Tuesday afternoons (between 4:00pm and 6:00 pm).
- This role requires the post-holder's attendance on campus.
- It is expected that the successful candidate will conduct a range of duties including on non-teaching days & in the university vacation period as needed.
- The agreed hourly rate of pay for undergraduate language teaching per teaching hour is £79.12, not including holiday pay. Each 'teaching hour' includes an additional allocation for preparation of the course, administration & other necessary non-teaching duties & is equivalent to 2 hours 40minutes of work.
